Here I am in Tehran… lips chapped and skin so dry if I stretch it would probably tear. On the bright side… sweat dries up fast so you don’t stink!

Iran censors the Internet! I wanted to log on to my Facebook account and this (pic) appeared on my screen. Then I tried going to some other websites that featured Iranian rock music (that’s why I’m here remember?) and the same image appeared everytime. Tsk tsk tsk!

Earlier today, I explored the sprawling Tehran Bazaar. I met some nice clothes merchants… family business. They invited me in to their shop for tea (tea drinking in Iran is unique… I’ll have a video posted once I get home and start editing my footages). The son, Mohamed Shahrabi, a textile engineering student, says he fully supports the censorship of the Internet.

“Our culture must be protected!” he says. (He’s the second from the right)

He’s a nice chap… he even reminded me that the Iran football team beat Malaysia 2-0 during the recent AFC tournament in KL.

Next stop… Mashhad!
